Poster guidelines

Posters are typically about a study or convey a message, where you have a title, authors, and affiliations at the top, and then the main poster figures/text below. This means you can discuss all your ideas with people who come to the poster and hopefully get excellent feedback. There is a good article in Science about scientific posters: https://www.science.org/content/article/how-prepare-scientific-poster

You need to make a poster (e.g. in Powerpoint) in portrait format that can be printed at size A0 (in the page format, you can define it as 84 x 119 cm). We suggest minimizing the amount of text and having plenty of figures.

You then print this poster and bring it with you (posters actually fold well and can be brought in a suitcase, if you do not have a poster tube). Alternatively, you can print it in Marseille, but it may not be ready in time for the conference. It is your responsibility to print and bring it.

For those who are presenting a poster that is already made, but in a different format (e.g. landscape), this is ok, but we need to know in advance (touch2023@sciencesconf.org), so that your poster will go on a wall, rather than a portrait poster board.

We do not need you to send us a digital version of your poster and the poster should be in English.
